Recently, in the 4th "Zhujiang Piano" Basic Skill Competition of National College Students of Music Education Major, representative team of NENU, composed of the students of the School of Music, respectively won several prizes including a third group prize, first and third prizes of pentathlon, and a third prize in "Comprehensive Music Knowledge Test". This is another success achieved by the students of the school in the national professional competition after year 1999, 2002 and 2004.
"Zhujiang Piano" Basic Skill Competition of National College Students of Music Education Major is a high standard professional basic skill competition sponsored by Ministry of Education with competitive groups directly organized and selected by the education ministries of provinces, cities and municipalities, and targeted at college students of music education major.
