On Dec. 7th, Peter de Boves Harrington, Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Department and Director of Chemistry Intelligent Instrument Centre of Ohio University USA, lectured in the school on invitation.
Professor Harrington gave an academic report to the teachers and students in the School of Chemistry. On behalf of the school, persons in charge of the School of Chemistry awarded Professor Harrington "Academic Activities Excellence" Medal after the report.
Later, Professor Harrington visited the school and some laboratories of the School of Chemistry and interviewed postgraduates of Division of Analytical Chemistry of the School of Chemistry who applied to pursue a PhD degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry Department of Ohio University.
