Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the key bidding projects of 2006 key research base of Humanity & Social Science and evaluation of projects for follow-up subsidy of philosophy & social science of Ministry of Education which just started this year. All 6 projects applied by the school were approved.
In the evaluation result of the 2006 Project Planning of Humanity & Social Science, 18 projects of 90 applied by the school were approved with a 20% project proposal rate and a subsidy of 780 thousand yuan. According to the statistics of quantity of project proposals, NENU ranks the 5th with Beijing University, East China Normal University and Central China Normal University.
In the project proposal, 5 teachers of the school gained Youth Project Subsidy of the Ministry of Education and 3 teachers gained Project Planning Subsidy based on the Youth Funding Project Subsidy within the school.
According to an incomplete statistics, all kinds of project subsidies gained by the school from the outside have exceeded 8 million yuan which hit a new record and made a good start in the 11th Five-Year Planning for the philosophy and social science research of the school.
