On Jan. 28th, Theatrical Festival of the Opening Ceremony of the 6th Asia Winter Games undertaken by the Northeast Normal University (NENU) was held at Wuhuan Gymnasium in a grand scale.
This Theatrical Festival of Opening Ceremony, refined by Ice & Snow culture of North China, fully embodied a style of grand and warm manner, friendship and harmony displaying not only regional characteristics but also modern flavour. The two hundred years’ life development and longing for a prosperous future of Changchun people were vividly reflected through arts of singing and dancing, sports show and video frequency light effect. Through the realization of the successful combination of arts of sing & dancing, sports show, theatre arts and television arts, this performance manifested the qualities of modernity, nationality, arts, ornamentation and creativity of Asian culture and Chinese traditional culture. All the programmes for the show including music, dance beauty, dance, sports performance and elements of literature were original.
This Theatrical Festival was participated by more than 1400 performers and workers, mainly from Art Research Centre, School of Music, School of Physic Education, School of Fine Arts, School of Chinese Language and Literature, School of Physics, School of Dancing Attached to NENU, Elementary School Attached to NENU, Jilin Provincial Winter Sports Management Centre, Changchun Winter Sports Management Centre, and Jilin Provincial Qianguo Song and Dance Ensemble Nationalities.
This Theatrical Festival of Opening Ceremony was live broadcast by CCTV, Jilin TV, Changchun TV.
