Feb. 5 (Xinhua) ― On Feb. 4th, Member of Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and Premier Wen Jiabao inspected NENU and visited Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory, Gene Engineering Medium-Size Multiplication Laboratory and the library. There were students study in the library in winter vacation, and the visit of premier brought surprise. Wen Jiabao discussed heatedly with the students on normal education. Premier said that education, holy and glorious, was an issue matters the development of the nation and offspring. These years, the education investment has increased, and the goal of letting children receive education, has been almost realized. The next goal was to let the children receive better education and this needed numbers of excellent teachers. The nation would increase the development and support to normal universities, brought the most excellent students to normal universities, trained them to be teachers and built up social custom of "respect teacher and value education" in the whole society.
