Students of NENU Won the Second Prize in 2006 China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling

Recently, the final results of 2006 China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling were announced. Students of NENU won the second prize in national contest, and 3 first prizes and 1 third prize in contest of Jilin.
China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (CUMCM), which is sponsored by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, and China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM), is one of the largest-scale extracurricular technological activities in national tertiary education. 864 universities, 9985 teams, about thirty thousand undergraduates from China (including Hong Kong) attended the contest.
