On Apr. 1st, the story of NENU's alumnae Guo Lihua was presented by Guangming Daily on the prominent position of the front page titled "Good Example of Teachers � Report on Female Professor Guo Lihua of Hainan Normal University", meanwhile, an article by a news analyst was published with the title "Being a Teacher as Guo Lihua".
Guo Lihua, after graduating from the School of Life Science of NENU, volunteered to work in Qinghai Normal University for 8 years and in 1992 she came to Hainan Normal University. Now she is the party secretary of Biology Department, supervisor of postgraduates, a member of National Ecological Society and Popular Science Society, the deputy director and secretary of Hainan Society of Botany.
As a teacher, Guo Lihua makes herself a good example of how to be a nice person and what to do as both a Party member and teacher. There are so many touching stories about her perseverance and love for teaching. She never gives up though her health is still deteriorating after two operations for cancer treatment.
