Recently, sponsored by Committee of Youth League, undertaken by University Students Scientific Research Centre, the first "Challenge Cup" University Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Work Competition drew to a conclusion in Yifu Building.
The competition lasted for 8 months with 93 works presented in the competition, which fell into 3 categories: natural science academic dissertation, society investigation report and science and technology invention and production. The competition went with two separate groups: undergraduates and graduates. Through pre-evaluation in the departments, re-evaluation in the school and final-evaluation and defense, 42 works were awarded, and 27 works came into final-evaluation and defense.
Some excellent works, on behalf of the school, will attend provincial and national "Challenge Cup" Competition.
