On Apr. 19th, Vice-President Zhang Shaojie met with Stephen B.Wickman, Consul General of U.S. Consulate in Shenyang who was paying a visit to NENU. Leaders of International Cooperation and Exchanges were present.
Zhang Shaojie briefed Mr. Wickman on disciplinary construction, faculty and students and campus environment, and they exchanged views on topics of common concern such as Sino-U.S. education system.
After the meeting, Mr. Wickman visited Institute of America Studies in School of History and Culture, and talked with some of their leaders, teachers and doctoral candidates.
