Recently, the appraisal results of the 9th Jilin Youth Science and Technology Awards hosted by the Organization Department of CCP Jilin Provincial Committee, Jilin Provincial Bureau of Personnel and Jilin Provincial Association for Science and Technology were announced. Prof. Guo Jianhua, School of Mathematics and Statistics, NENU, won the award.
The appraisal aimed at carrying out the spirit of the Sixth Plenum of the 16th Central Committee of the CPC and the gist of the National Conference of Science and Technology, implementing the strategy of prospering the province with scientific education and developing industry with talents, fostering youth leaders of academy and technology, boosting youth workers' contribution to the development of Jilin economy and the construction of a Socialist harmonious society.
