Recently, series TV program "Appreciation of China" produced by Communication Science College from April 2006, passed the evaluation organized by Department of Basic Education of Ministry of Education. Department of Basic Education of Ministry of Education formally becomes the supervising unit of "Appreciation of China". Jiang Peimin, Director General of Department of Basic Education is appointed as supervisor, Gao Hong, Deputy Director General, planner.
Since the start of the "Appreciation of China", it has gained attention from departments like Ministry of Education, CCYL (Central Committee of Youth League), and all social circles. The program goes well and 30 episodes are finished, one of which named "Xuexiang Naochun" (celebration of the Spring Festival in the snowland) is awarded the first prize of TV Show of 2006 China Education TV Committee. "Xuexiang Naochun" and "Bell Set" were sent to international movie festivals in Sweden and Finland, nominated and well-received. The program will be finished in June 2008, and be broadcast on education channels through the country and released at home and abroad.
