On June 16th and 17th, the 3rd Forum on English Language Education and Teaching Methodology in China & the 2nd National Training Class for English Language Education and Teaching Methodology which were jointly hosted by NENU, Foreign Languages in China Magazine Press and Higher Education Press were held in NENU.
Experts and scholars, such as Zhang Shaojie, Vice President of NENU, Prof. Yang Zhong, Director of NENU Academic Committee of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Hu Zhuanglin, professor of Peking University, Yang Yonglin, professor of Tsinghua University, Li Zhengquan, professor of Hebei Normal University, Zou Weicheng, professor of East China Normal University and Chief Editor of Journal of Foreign Language Teaching, etc., parts of the teaching faculty of School of Foreign Languages, NENU, and nearly 100 English teachers of over 50 schools from 30 provinces attended the forum. Vice President Zhang delivered a welcome speech and introduced NENU in the opening ceremony.
Prof. Hu Zhuanglin was invited to deliver a wonderful lecture on English teaching evaluation, high-quality curriculum construction, application and construction for translation, etc.
