On July 1st, 2007 Graduation and Degree-Issuing Ceremonies of NENU were held in Old Campus and Jingyue Campus respectively. Leaders of NENU, Sheng Lianxi, Shi Ningzhong, Zhang Zhiguo, Xue Kang, Yang Xiaohui, Ma Shang, Liu Haimin, Zhao Ying, Zhang Shaojie, Su Zhongmin, Yang Zhong, Vice Chairman of the of Evaluation Committee of Academic Degree and former Vice President, Li Lixin, Chairman of Work Union, President Assistants Liu Jianjun and Feng Jiang attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Zhang Zhiguo.
5730 students of NENU including 154 Ph.D. students, 1760 M.A. students and 3812 undergraduates completed their education programs and graduated successfully this year.
Yang Zhong, Vice Chairman of the Academic Degree of Evaluation Committee read out the decision on approving 2007 students of their graduation and awarding the degrees. Shi Ningzhong, President of NENU and Chairman of the Academic Degree of Evaluation Committee awarded the degrees and issued the certificates to the representatives of graduates. Yang Xiaohui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, declared the decision on commending 2007 excellent undergraduates and postgraduates.
The representatives of teachers, Prof. Zhang Senlin, Governor of International Relations Institute and Prof. Zhong Shaochun, Governor of School of Software, and the representative of students, Ding Qian from School of Education Science and Li Shuo from School of Business delivered a speech in two campuses respectively.
