NENU Holds 2007 National English Contest for College Students and the 8th National English Camp for College Students

Sponsored by College English Teaching Guide Committee and College English Education Association and undertaken by NENU and English Coaching Paper Office, the national final of 2007 National English Contest for College Students and the 8th National English Camp for College Students were held by NENU from July 30th to August 2nd.

332 players including two NENU students from 200 universities of 31 provinces, all of whom were top grade winner in the first round, took part in the national final. The National English Camp, the last activity of the National English Contest for College Students, not only tested the English comprehensive ability but also improved the applied ability.

On July 30th, NENU held the opening ceremony, which several ten Chinese and foreign English experts attended. Yang Zhizhong, President of College English Education Association delivered a speech.
