From July 30th to August 2nd, the final of 2007 National English Contest for College Students and the 8th National English Summer Camp for College Students was held in NENU. All together 332 contestants from almost 200 universities of 31 provinces took part in this final contest. Two contestants from NENU joined.
On 30th, the opening ceremony of the final was held in NENU. English experts at home and abroad attended the opening and closing ceremonies. Vice president Zhang Shaojie of NENU extended his warm greetings to the participants and gave a brief introduction to NENU.
