On August 12th, Han Jinru, Grade 2005, from School of Physical Education of NENU finished fourth in 7.87 meters in the finals of men's long jump at the 24th Universiade. It was the best score that Chinese team has achieved at the 24th Universiade.
The 24th Universiade was held in Bangkok of Thailand on August 8th and will last until August 18th. All together 12000 undergraduates from 153 countries and areas participated in this event. Chinese delegation with 447 members took part in 16 major and 231 minor games. Han Jinru is the first undergraduate from Jilin province to participate in the Universiade.
