Recently, the Office of Okayama University, Japan in Changchun was set up in NENU. Vice President of Okayama University, Kiyomizu Nobuyoshi and his party, President of NENU, Shi Ningzhong, Vice President Zhang Shaojie, Dean of Graduate School, Su Zhongmin together with the concerned personnel of International Cooperation and Exchanges and Preparatory School for Chinese Students to Japan have been present in the Unveiling ceremony.
Presidendt Shi Ningzhong reviewed the cooperation history between the two universities in his welcoming address, and elaborated the significance of the establishment of the Changchun Office of Okayama University. He said it would bring a great deal of convenience for students in the Northeast China, students in NENU in particular, to learn about Japanese culture, Okayama University and apply for visa. Kiyomizu Nobuyoshi spoke highly of the long tradition of cooperation between the two universities, and he believe that the establishment of Changchun Office will make great contribution to promoting the academic exchanges between the two universities and enhancing the friendship between the two people.
