Recently, School of History and Culture, Institute for Asia Civilization, Centre for History of World Civilization jointly held the International Symposium on History of East-Asia Thoughts. Over 60 prominent experts and learners from South Korea, Japan and domestic together with some teachers and students of our school attended the conference.
President Shi Ningzhong, Vice President Zhang Shaojie, Deputy Director of State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs Department of Cultural and Educational Experts, Researcher of the Academy of Social Sciences of China, famous historian of thoughts, philosopher, and esthetician Li Zehou, and professor from UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO, famous historian of thoughts in Japan Hei Zhuzhen etc. attended the opening ceremony.
The theme of the symposium is to analyze history, form new East-Asia cooperation concept, and thus promote the cooperation and development of East-Asia. It is said that the academic papers submitted by the participants will be collected for publication.
