On September 8th, Beijing premiere of "Feng Zhiyuan" was held in the hall of National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). This movie was adapted from the life story of Feng Zhiyuan, who was the excellent alumnus of NENU. Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi of NENU attended the premiere on invitation.
During the premiere, Sheng Lianxi read "A Letter to the Movie Premiere of 'Feng Zhiyuan'" written by Feng Zhiyuan, and accepted CDs, copies of the movie as well as books from the joint-production unit on behalf of the school.
The movie was released in Yinchuan on September 3rd and the premiere in NENU was held on September 6th.
