Recently, Professor Sam-Shajing Sun from American Norfolk State University gave a lectrue entitled "Organic and Polymeric Photovoltaics: A Potential Renewable, Clean, and Cost Effective Energy Alternative" in School of Chemistry.
Dean of Graduate School Su Zhongmin and former leader Wang Rongshun attended the lecture. Professor Sun Shajing had a discussion with the students and teachers from School of Chemistry on manufacturing technique, life-expectancy, application prospect of Solar Cell and how to improve the efficiency.
Currently Sun Shajing is the Professor of Chemistry and Materials Sciences, Associate Editor, head of Organic and Polymeric Materials Research Labs, Center for Materials Research and Department of Chemistry, and also director of Center for Research and Education in Advanced Materials, and associate editor of Solar Energy Journal (International Solar Energy Society and Elsevier).
