On September 22nd, on the invitation of the Ministry of Education, Danish Minister of Education and Religious Affairs Bertel Haarder, his wife and Danish ambassadors in China altogether 14 persons visited School of Humanities in NENU. They also attended the 2007 opening ceremony of freshmen and joint program run by School of Humanities and Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College.
Gao Wen, Former Vice-Governor of Jilin Province, Feng Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of Jilin Provincial Government, Shi Ningzhong, President of NENU and other officers from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, Provincial Department of Public Education and Provincial Administration for Religious Affairs were invited to the ceremony. Thousands of people including leading members from School of Humanities, school offices, leaders of each school and new students of 2007 altogether attended the ceremony. Yang Zhong, former leader and current consultant of School of Humanities hosted the opening ceremony.
