Recently, the Fifth Life and Science Academic Meeting in Jilin Province was held in the Conference Hall on the third floor of Gallery of University History of the school by Science and Technology Association and Ecological Society of Jilin. The theme was “ Lifen and science and Harmonious Jilin”.
Present at the Opening Ceremony were Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi of NENU, Academician Hao Shui of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Vice-president Dai Xin of Science and Technology Association, the academician Xia Xianzhu from Chinese Academy of Engineering, Jia Guanghe, Deputy Director of Development and Reform Commission and Director of the Ecological office, Feng Jiang, assistant to president and director of Science and Technology Management. Hao Shui, Dai Xin, Feng Jiang also gave lectures in the ceremony.
Xia Xianzhu, Sheng Lianxi, Jia Guanghe and other seven experts gave excellent reports on research of ecology, biotechnology, safty of food and other issues in the meeting.
