On September 23rd, Danish Minister of Education and Religious Affairs Bertel Haarder, his wife and other members of the Delegation of Danish Education visited NENU, acompanied by Yu Xingchang, Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Jilin Province. President Shi Ningzhong met with them. Also present at the meeting were the leading members from the School Offices, Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, library and other units.
President Shi Ningzhong introduced the developing history and the present state of teaching and research of NENU and accompanied them to visit the main campus and the library.
The aim of the visit is to strengthen cooperation in education, sign the Agreement of Mutual Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications and Memorandum on Sino-Danish Education Cooperation of Ministry of Education.
