Recently, approved by the Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, Ministry of Education, 24 teachers and students of NENU went on a 12-day visit to altogether seven universities including the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), National Taipei University of Education (NTUE), Feng Chia University, National Taichung University (NTCU), National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), National Chiayi University (NCYU), National Kaohsiung Normal University (NKNU). This is the first time for NENU to organize exchange activities among teachers and students with Taiwan.
During the visit, the teachers and students from NENU and the universities in Taiwan held a discussion with the development of education as the theme and exchanged ideas on academic and scientific research, social practice, student management and the exchange of visiting scholars and students. The teachers and students of NENU also visited the National Museum of Natural Science and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
