Recently, 10th Challenge Cup National Competition of Chinese College Students' Extracurricular Academic and Scientific Achievements drew its curtain at Nankai University in Tianjin. Students from NENU again made a historical breakthrough on its record, winning two first prizes, two second prizes, one third prize, and one excellent prize. Meanwhile, the ranking of contestant universities was announced. NENU ranked the 16th in the region of Mainland China with 250 points and the first in Jilin Province. The school was honored "Excellent Organizing Model" and for the first time won “Trophy Cup”. Vice-Party Secretary and Vice-President Yang Xiaohui attended the opening ceremony of the competition, and gave warm greetings to the teachers and students concerned.
