On December 1st, the normal universities from Northeast China and NENU held a job fair for the graduates of the year 2008 in the Convention and Exhibition Center of Changchun. Under the guidance of Students’ Affairs Department of Ministry of Education and the Three Eastern Provinces Education Bureau, with NENU playing a major part, the job fair is held by 28 normal universities from Northeast China. It is also a special fair for the graduates from the 28 normal universities to hunt jobs in hundreds of nationwide local towns. Though confronted with the stern reality of the job market, the fair is shown to be prosperous.
On December 1st, CCTV news made a full coverage of this job fair of NENU. It has been reporting the job fair of NENU for five consecutive years.
