Recently, the 7th National Dance Competition, which was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, drew its curtain. Group dance “Chinese Mother”, which was selected by Dance Department of School of Music, got the highest award “Cultural Performance Award” and the Silver Medal of “Cultural Program Creation Award”. It also took part in the performance of the Announcing Evening Party and the Choicest Performing Party. After achieving the Gold Prize in the 8th "Taoli Cup" National Dance Competition by its group dance “Going into Town” last year, School of Music got its second national award.
