On March 5th, the Women Red-Banner Relay Race around campus was held by the Work Union and Women's Commission on the main campus to greet Olympics, welcome International Women’s Day, and promote harmony. Nearly 400 runners, altogether 55 teams from 33 union branches and women's commission of departments took part in the game. Vice President and Director of NENU Sports Committee Zhang Zhiguo on behalf of NENU extended the holiday greetings to the female faculty, and started the race by a gun with Chairman of Work Union Li Lixin.
