During May Day, the nature museum of NENU staged "Visit nature museum May Day, Embrace Green Olympics" thematic activities, which were widely welcomed by the citizens in Changchun.
The award winning activity with the theme of "Green Olympics―Museum Discovery" attracted people from preschool children to college students. It contributed to the cultivation of cooperative and team spirit of the participants in the form of games. The museum also held composition contest for primary school students entitled "I Love National Butterfly" when exhibiting Teinopalpus aureus (a rare endemic species of butterfly in China). Besides, the museum started “Greet the Olympics, Launch the public fitness programs―museum rock-climbing” activity for the tourists.
