From May 26th to 27th, on invitation of NENU Appendant Experimental School, the chorus of 70 persons from Millikin University led by Doctor Douglas E.Zemke visited the school and gave two performances jointly. Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi and Vice President Zhang Zhiguo met the chorus and watched the show.
During their performance, the chorus from Millikin University observed a minute of silence for the victims in earthquake -stricken Wenchuan County, Sichuan province and subscribed liberally to a relief fund.
