International Symposium with the theme of “Western Religious Culture and Literature” held in NENU

Published:June 14, 2008 Review:

Hosted by the Center for History of World Civilization, a key research base for humanities and social science approved by Ministry of Education, and co-sponsored by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Nankai University and our university, the international symposium on western religious culture and literature is held in NENU from June the 9th to 11th. More than 40 experts and scholars from home and abroad together with some teachers and students of our university attended the symposium, during which President of NENU, Shi Ningzhong, met with some of the participants of the symposium.
The symposium provided a good opportunity for promoting mutual exchanges among the scholars, deeper discussion on currently hot topic in literature, and further expansion of the domains for western religious culture and literature researches.
