Lately the “National Engineering Laboratory for Selection of Genes and Protein of Medicine” applied by the Center for Agricultural and Medical Genetic Engineering under the Ministry of Education has been approved and presented with a plaque by the National Development and Reform Commission. The awarding ceremony was held along with the opening ceremony of the second China Bioindustry Convention in Changsha, Hunan Province. Vice president Xue Kang and Director of the “National Engineering Laboratory for Selection of Genes and Protein of Medicine”, Professor Li Yuxin together with heads of Office of Science and Technology attended the ceremony.
