On September 22th, NENU got the fisrt "sports activities week" started on the square in front of the library on main campus. Zhang Zhiguo, vice-president of NENU and director of the working committee of sports and arts of NENU, and Li Lixin Chairman of Labour Union attended the opening ceremony. Heads and staffs from Labor Union, Communist Youth League and School of Physical Education as well as student representatives were also present.
The fisrt "sports activities week" is said to be started from September 22th and end on Sepetember 28th. Throughout the week, various activities such as jogging , Shadowboxing, tug-of-war, football matches, basketball matches and sports meeting, etc would be organized for students.
