Recently, the preliminary contest of 2008 CCTV Cup English Speaking Contest (NENU) ended. After winning the championship, Yan Meng, a junior undergraduate from School of Foreign Languages will represent NENU to take part in the provincial semi-finals. The preliminary contest of CCTV Cup (NENU) was jointly sponsored by Committee of Youth League of NENU and Committee of Youth League of School of Foreign Languages. A total of 13 contestants from 19 different schools survived from preliminary rounds and semi-finals competed in the final.
