From October 6th to 9th, Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi, accompanied by persons in charge of University Office and Academic Affairs of NENU, visited Lindian County of Daqing City and Anda City in Heilongjiang Province to inspect NENU students’ teaching practice work.
In December 2007, NENU signed an agreement with Liaoning Education Department, Jilin Education Department and Heilongjiang Education Department on cooperation of "The Project of Training Outstanding Secondary School Teachers and Educators". Several counties (cities) of the three provinces were chosen as NENU's "Northeast Experimental Zone for Innovation in Teacher Training". 17 experimental zones have been set up in these provinces until now. This year, all Grade 2005 students will accomplish their teaching practice in these zones.
During his visit in Anda and Lindian, Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi delivered a message of greetings to Grade 2005 interns, he inquired in detail about their teaching practice work and lives. Sheng encouraged them to be prepared to endure hardship and accomplish the teaching practice with effort so as to lay a solid foundation for their future career as outstanding secondary school teachers and educators.
