Hai Meili and Zhao Chunyang from School of Foreign Languages wrested the second and third prize respectively through a fierce competition out of the candidates recommended by the colleges of Jilin province in the recently held Jilin "YU Ying Cup" Japanese Speech Contest.
This contest, jointly held by Jilin People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Translation Association of Jilin Province, and Japan's Consulate General in Shenyang, aims to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the friendly exchanges between Sino-Japanese youths.
