On the invitation of Russia Tula State Normal University, Far East National Humanities University, Moscow State University of Oriental and African Studies, and St. Petersburg State Normal University, a delegation of four from our university headed by vice-president Zhang Shaojie,paid a visit to these universities during Sep, 29th to Oct, 10th.
Zhang Shaojie attended the celebration of the seventieth anniversary of Russia Tula State Normal University, and signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of NENU. Zhang Shaojie also renewed the cooperation agreement with Far East National Humanities University, and gave detailed information on Sino-Russian university students' arts festival activities to be organized by NENU at the end of this year. Zhang Shaojie exchanged ideas with leaders from Moscow State University of Oriental and African Studies on the issue of establishing Examination Center for Study Abroad in Russia, as well as the learning and living conditions of the exchange students from NENU. Zhang Shaojie finally reached agreement with the vice-president of St. Petersburg State Normal University on the establishment of Confucius Institute through negotiation. Both parties agreed that Confucius Institute would be co-established under appropriate conditions, and the exchanges between teaching faculty and students will be further promoted.
Up until now, NENU has established good relationship with the four universities above in faculty and student exchanges.
