Recently, China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Award presentation ceremony was held in Great Hall of the People in Beijing by Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Young League, All-China Federation of Youth, All-China Students' Federation and National Commission of China Young Pioneers. Tan Huaqiao, a Grade 2007 postgraduate from School of Chemistry of NENU received the award with his outstanding research ability and good comprehensive ability and became one of the 14 postgraduates being honoured. Member of Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Wang Zhaoguo, member of Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China and State Council member Liu Yandong and other state leaders warmly met the winners. China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Award is regarded as the highest award of adolescents’ science and technology in China. Since the first award presented in 2004, NENU students have been receiving the honour consecutively for four years.
