Recently, NENU announce an emergency response plan preventing Influenza A virus subtype H1N1, A (H1N1) for short,from spreading from human to human. In accordance with the plan, an emergency treatment team was set up with Vice Presidents Zhang Zhiguo and Zhang Shaojie as team leaders. The emergency treatment team is composed of several sub-branches such as coordination and contact team, press conference team, safety and security team, logistics support team, medical support and rescue team and aftermath handling team. The operation procedure and respective duty of each team are also prescribed in the plan.
On April the 29th, the first working conference of emergency treatment team was held and specific publicity and prevention measures are laid out.
