On May 16th, accompanied by President Hu Xianwu of Jinlin Province Press and Publication Bureau, the fifth inspection team of central cultural administrative system reform work leading group headed by President and Party chief of General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) Liu Binjie arrived at NENU to inspect its work on NENU Press administrative system reform. Vice President Zhang Zhiguo of NENU and persons in charge of NENU Press welcomed the inspection team.
Zhang Zhiguo first introduced such things as the history and present situation of NENU and the establishment and development of NENU Press to the inspection team. Liu Binjie gave a full affirmation of the work of NENU Press. He said: NENU Press is among the best in higher institutions of China. It has so far published abundant fine works particularly in the publishing of textbooks and education and teaching materials.
