Recently, organized by Department of High and New Technology Development and Industrialization, Ministry of Science and Technology, the conference of feasibility study on the 11th Five-Year Plan National Key Technology Program "Industrialization Research on Lithium Iron Phosphate Material and LiFePo4-Powered Battery Pack" was held in Changchun. Deputy Director Li Jianhua of Jilin Provincial Science & Technology Department, President Shi Ningzhong, President Assistant and Director of Department of Science and Technology Feng Jiang of NENU and relevant leaders attended the conference.
On the conference, an expert panel headed by academician Wang Er-kang listened to the feasibility report of the program and research, reviewed documents of budgets and relevant materials, watched samples of battery pack and electrobus and inquired relevant issues. After a thorough discussion, the panel highly praised the program, unanimously passed the feasibility study and suggested that the program be initiated as soon as possible.
