On June 15th, in order to have a sound preparation for the "Life is Full of Sunshine: on the occasion of the Party Day and the National Day, Echo of Musician Lv Yuan’s Eightieth Birthday Changchun Concert", a preparatory leading group with Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi and President Shi Ningzhong as the head and with Vice President Zhang Zhiguo and Vice Party Secretary Ma Shang as deputy head was formed. Members of the preparatory group include School of Music, Publicity Department, University Office, Administrative Office of Jingyue Campus, Alumni Association, Security Department and leaders in charge of the Youth League Committee.
In the afternoon, the first preparatory meeting of the preparatory leading group was held. Party Secretary Sheng Lianxi and Vice Party Secretary Ma Shang attended the meeting. Ma Shang briefly introduced "People’s Musician", NENU alumnus Lv Yuan’s achievement and the background of organizing the concert. Leaders from School of Music and Publicity Department reported their preparatory work.
After listening to the report, Sheng Lianxi first gave full affirmation for the hard work of the units concerned. He pointed out that organizing the concert is of great importance to NENU. Sheng also required that different departments should coordinate with each other and give full attention to the concert so as to accomplish the preparation in an intense and well-organized way and with high quality.
"Life is Full of Sunshine: on the occasion of the Party Day and the National Day, Echo of Musician Lv Yuan’s Eightieth Birthday Changchun Concert" will pull its curtain on June 22nd.
