On June 27th, as was required by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Department, NENU organized and held the inspection meeting for Ministry of Education Innovation Team. The meeting was presided over by Gao Runsheng, director of Science and Technology Department Integrative Office of Ministry of Education. Headed by academician Wu Weihua from China Agricultural University, 7 well-known experts form the expert panel. Vice-President of NENU Xue Kang, President Assistant and Director of Department of Science and Technology Feng Jiang and persons in charge of School of Life Science attended the meeting. The Innovation Team led by Professor Liu Bao from School of Life Science is the first team of NENU that passes inspection of MOE.
Since its implementation in 2004, Ministry of Education’s "Program for Changjiang Scholars and Innovative Research Team in University" (PCSIRT) has supported a passel of excellent innovation teams which enhances the innovation ability and competitiveness of university’s scientific research team, reinforces the implementation of the educational developing strategy with talents in institutions of higher education.
