NENU Holds the 6th National Cognitive Linguistic Seminar

Published:July 8, 2009 Review:

From July 5th to 6th, sponsored by China Cognitive Linguistics Association (CCLA) and undertaken by NENU, the 6th national conference on cognitive linguistics was held. President of China Cognitive Linguistics Association Shu Dingfang, Vice-President of NENU Zhang Shaojie, President Assistant of NENU and Director of Social Science Management Liu Jianjun attended the opening ceremony of the seminar. Director of the Academic Committee of Hmanity Social Sciences Yang Zhong presided over the opening ceremony.

It is the first time that such kind of seminar was held in Northeast China. The seminar is of the largest scale and highest standard by far. It is the first one that provides a platform for both China’s foreign language researchers and Chinese language researchers to exchange views. The seminar also received great attention and support from the media.
