Recently, in the Fourth Freescale Cup University Smart Car Racing Contest, NENU's two teams instructed by Associate Professor Wang Lianming and engineer Chen Caiyun from School of Physics won the second prize in national finals, after receiving the first prize in Northeast Division.
The Freescale Cup University Smart Car Racing Contest is organized by the Tertiary Education Automation Teaching Committee of the Ministry of Education and sponsored by world-famous corporation Freescale Semiconductor. A total of 720 teams from more than 200 universities participated in the preliminaries, among which 120 teams from 88 universities reached the national finals.
