Jointly produced by NENU and Mu Sen Media Corporation, the movie "Department of Dance" draws its materials from the dance "Chinese Mother" created by teachers and students of School of Music. The dancing-rehearsal part in the movie is shot at the rehearsal hall of School of Music with students who have participated in the dance performing in the movie.
At the shooting scene, leaders of NENU inquired in detail about the shooting progress and exchanged views with the cast and crew in a friendly climate, wishing the shooting a success.
