Training Center for Studying Overseas Holds Opening Ceremony for Language Training Course for Government-sponsored Visiting Scholars

On September 6th, the Training Center for Studying Overseas of NENU held the opening ceremony for language training course for government-sponsored visiting scholars. More than 100 scholars from over 20 universities and research institutions joined the courses.

Present at the opening ceremony were Director of Department for Planning and Development of CSC (China Scholarships Council), Cao Shihai, Vice-President of NENU Zhang Shaojie, foreign experts from American English Association and persons in charge of teacher-training programs from universities such as Jilin University and Harbin Institute of Technology.

The training course is due to end in January, 2010. After the appraisal, qualified students will win their access to Britain, USA, Australia, Canada and some other countries or regions for a visit or study.
