On September 22nd, invited by students of School of Physical Science, Professor Guo Yongjun, a retired teacher from School of Marxism, made a report entitled "Chinese People's Historic Choices" in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China. Deputy Party Secretary Ma Shang, former Party Secretary of NENU and Director of "Care for the Next Generation" Committee Zhou Jingsi attended the lecture.
In the report, Professor Guo Yongjun described the huge changes that the new China had witnessed since its founding 60 years ago by citing a large number of historical facts and statistics. Hearing the report, students all felt proud of the significant achievements that the new China has obtained.
