On October 12th, President Shi Ningzhong was asked to give a talk entitled "Thinking on Education Origin" to the teachers and students of the School of Education Science. The lecture, which was presided over by Vice-president of NENU Liu Haimin, also attracted many teachers and students from other schools.
In his talk, Shi Ningzhong elaborated that the ideal education is supposed to act upon the laws of somatopsychic development, especially those of brain development and to help the educatees to develop themselves in terms of knowledge, capability and the like by stimulating every part of their brains. Meanwhile, he also expressed his ardent expectations for the students on their study and research.
