On the afternoon of 29th, "Norway-Powered by Nature"――the Introduction Meeting for Norway in Shanghai Expo 2010 was held in the conference hall of the History Museum of NENU. Minister Counselor, Economic Counselor, Cultural Counselor and other ambassadors from the Norwegian Embassy were present at the conference. The chief representative of the Norwegian government and the project director gave a reference to the theme and the philosophy for the design of Norwegian Nation Representation. His introduction also covered the human landscape and natural scenery of Norway.
In the evening of that day, the Jazz Quartet Concert, performed by Norway Band "the Core" was held in the music hall on Jingyue campus. "The Core", who has performed with many Jazz masters together, is one of Norway's most energetic jazz bands.
This presentation and the concert provide the platform for students of NENU to get to know the Expo and Norway; broaden their international horizon and promote the cultural exchanges of NENU.
